- Classes meet for one hour, once a week
- Sessions are for 8 weeks; summer session is 6 weeks
- Applications are processed on a first-received basis; payment must accompany application
- Forms of payment are PayPal with online registration (email submission of application); check, cash.
- There is a 5% convenience charge for PayPal and PayPal Here payments
- Payment, regardless of method (PayPal, check or cash), does not guarantee acceptance in a class, but payment must be received prior to confirmation of enrollment
- Confirmation of enrollment will be sent via email in advance of Orientation
- No refunds will be given after the first class is held
- No new students are accepted after the second week of class of each session
- All dogs must be current on required immunizations; 3-year rabies is acceptable; proof of vaccination is required
- One handler per dog in the ring for class; the same person should handle the dog in class each week; family members are welcome to observe
- Well-mannered children are welcome visitors at the LRDTC building; they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- If the handler/trainer is younger than 16 years of age, please contact the Training Director; participation in class requires the instructor’s permission
- Bitches in season may attend classes in “seasonal attire”; please be aware of the effect your girl may have on other dogs, especially intact males
- Aggressive dogs are not allowed on the premises
- Prerequisites must be met; Beginner Obedience is required for all classes beyond that level, and most advanced classes have additional requirements, including permission of the instructor
- Classes do not meet if Pulaski County Public Schools or Little Rock School District cancel classes because of inclement weather
- Every effort will be made to make up canceled classes
- LRDTC does offer for sale some training equipment, including nice leather leashes at an economical price; your instructor will be happy to assist you in selection
