Inclement Weather Policy
Classes will not be held if Pulaski County Schools are canceled due to inclement weather. If schools are not canceled, it is up to each individual instructor to decide whether to hold class when the weather is bad. The instructor is responsible for contacting students by phone or e-mail if he/she decides to cancel class. Students are welcome to contact their instructor if they are unsure if class will be held due to bad weather. Canceled classes will be made up at a day/time of the instructor's choosing.
Instructors whose classes are held outdoors also have to make a decision about holding class when it is raining. Again, it is up to the instructor to decide whether to have class if it is raining. Some instructors move class indoors, others go ahead and meet in the rain, and others cancel the class and make it up later. The instructor is responsible for contacting the students by phone or e-mail if he/she decides to cancel class due to rain.
